Great food, great service, great prices. You could easily spend twice or three times as much eating the same food at Chinatown downtown, OR you can come to Superior Palace and get all your Cantonese specialties expertly prepared the way you expect. Can get busy at peak times, but have patience, grasshopper. You'll get your food, and it'll be delicious !!
Great tasting food & price.
Nice little Outer Richmond Chinese restaurant. Inexpensive.
We went here after an early showing at the Balboa. Great value, excellent service and wifi (at least last night). We had a quiet table next to the fish tank, watching those catfish on death row. The deep fried whole flounder was a highlight. You could do worse.
Keep an eye on your bill. Owner cheats you on your bill. They will round up from the listed price and will write up a dollar or more randomly then tax over that.
Good food and quality
The owner's bad behavior today was a huge disappointment. She argued with me when the bill came and promised us a complimentary entree in replacement of a dish that tasted sour and possibly old, appeared on the bill, then she was rude about it and had the nerve to argue and lie. My family have been going for years and that's truly a demise on her part. Selfish and greedy owner. Losing long time patrons will only hurt her business. I will never go there again.
Kind of dirty place to eat
OK food let down by sloooooow service.
Decent food but not worth the poor customer service. Tons of better restaurants in the neighborhood with better food and service.
Price of the food affordable and authentic Chinese restaurant
Exceptional fresh seafood at competitive prices... service can be hit it miss but overall food quality is very good!
I have been going there for a long time now and the food is really good and has great flavor.
Good place
Here with the family eating the $188 fixed price banquet menu for 10 for Chinese New Year: Shrimp and Fresh Fruit Salad, Braised Faux Shark Fin Soup (Shark fin is now illegal to be served in California), Combination of Mushrooms with Shrimp Fillet, Peking Duck with Steamed Buns, Famous House Special Chicken (whole), Ginger Green Onion Lobster, Abalone with Black Mushrooms (Shiitake) and Chinese Mustard Greens, Steamed Whole Fresh Rock Cod Fish, Braised E-Fu Noodles with Yellow Leeks and Mushrooms and Sweet Red Bean Soup (dessert). Food came out hot. Service was prompt and attentive. Waiter came by to change plates (always a plus). Ordered Fat Choy and Beef with Bok Choy as extra dishes on the top of the banquet menu. Portions were great (family members took home lots of leftovers). Very reasonable and tasty for the price.
Surprisingly a gem in the Richmond neighborhood. Tasty food and not expensive menu if you order from the menu with lunch and dinner specials. The portions are big. They also give you free soup and peanuts when you dine and oranges at the end of dinner.
Very good Chinese restaurant and cheap, a lot of choice.
Food ok. Boss lady is just mean n very rude!
Great food. Hot and Sour soup was excellent.
Pretty oily even by Chinese restaurant standards. Not exactly the cleanest either. Food can be hit or miss depends on how busy they are
Great Alaskan King crab and seafood
Not for the American taste, great for true love of Chinese food.
This is a tough rating. If you know what you're getting, it's great. If not, you may be disappointed. The eating area was pretty clean, although they had set dirty dishes and things on the table they sat us at and they moved them without bringing new things to set the table......little sketchy with the cleanliness there. The bathroom wasn't terribly clean either. As for the food, it took some getting used to. I have never had "real" Asian/Chinese food before, but from what I've had explained, this us what I imagine. It's not Americanized Asian food. It is more simple, a little bland, fewer ingredients than what American food has. But it's got flavor if you can learn to like it quick, or if that's your taste. The menu was tough for me. There are many choices and they are not described much. It basically just lists what it is, sometimes that is fairly self explanatory, sometimes it's not.
Not bad. We chose 5 dishes for $ 50
Prices are reasonable. Food is okay but service can be improved.
Food was excellent and cheap but service was cold and somewhat unfriendly. Granted, I was a single guy but even so I don't like being treated gruffly.
Good food cheap prices.
TERRIBLE Service. I usually don't ever post a review on yelp, but this was so bad I had to. I went here for the first time and it will be my LAST. The waiter didn't even ask what I wanted to drink. So I ate my entire meal with NO water. He never not once asked how the food is tasting or if he can get me anything else. I had to stand up and ask for a to go box. I didn't even get an itemized receipt. So the receipt did not even reflect what I ordered. It was just a receipt with the amount. THEN THE WAITER HAD THE AUDACITY TO FINALLY COME UP TO MY TABLE AND THE FIRST THING HE DID WAS LOOK AT MY TAB TO SEE IF THERE WAS A TIP. THEN HE SAID, NO TIP?? I was like wooowwwww. just wow. This is why people think asian restaurants have terrible service everywhere, because of people like this. The food was good but not enough for me to go there ever again.
Great food and lots too.
It's OK. Nothing impressive but no waiting for a table during lunch. $20 minimum for credit card.
The food was lovely and the prices reasonable. No complaints about the customer service. They were great.
This was a good place. Definitely not your Americanized Chinese food. I've never been directed to "real" Chinese food before but I was impressed with the food as it was. A lower rating is given due to the fact the table they gave us had other dishes on it and they just rearranged the stuff on the table to the next table. The restrooms were not great. Only one men's and it was some what of a hole feeling. The service lacked on refilling drinks because the whole restaurant sat down to eat lunch together about 230 pm in the middle of the dining room.
Glass pigeon, crispy and juicy, with an endless aftertaste!
Pretty good service!
The taste is good, but the food is generally spicy
Good eats and good size portions here. Can be busy at the weekends though. The roast pigeons were of a good meaty size!
Food is good and the price is fare service was great
